What makes you different from other translation companies?
There are many advantages to working with Idea Institute.
We can perform multilingualization with consistent quality across languages in a short period of time, offering the same high level of quality whether in English, French, or Arabic. In the past, we’ve even met customer needs for simultaneous multilingual translation into over 30 languages, an achievement of which we’re proud.
Not only are our translations done by native speakers, but terminology is managed and quality thoroughly checked by separate checkers and Japanese staff familiar with the language.
Beyond translation, we also offer technical writing, DTP, and design services. With product manuals, our strength is our ability to handle the entire process, from writing a manuscript based on specifications and other documents to translation and production, resulting in more efficient multilingualization. -
Are translations done by Japanese staff?
At Idea Institute, we believe that translations should be able to stand on their own as polished written works. That’s why our translations are done by native speakers of the target language, as a general rule. High-quality translations are born through close coordination between translators and our own staff.

Can you use computer-assisted translation tools like Trados Studio and Phrase (formerly Memsource)?
Yes, we use CAT tools such as Trados Studio and Phrase (formerly Memsource) to create translation memories and streamline translation work.
We can also use our own exclusively developed macros and other tools to improve the efficiency and accuracy of translation. -
In how many languages do you offer services?
As of January 2024, we offer services in over 80 languages.

We are worried about requesting translation into a language that we ourselves can’t check.
There’s no need to worry. Idea Institute has a thorough checking framework consisting of:

Can you handle everything from manuscript writing to printing?
Yes, we can take care of the entire process from manuscript writing to printing because we have established a consistent production framework in house. When it comes to printing, we partner with trusted subcontractors to speedily deliver you a high-quality final product.

We would like to have sensitive information translated but are worried about leaks.
At Idea Institute, we take pride in maintaining complete confidentiality. All employees, translators, staff members, and subcontractors sign non-disclosure agreements. We have also obtained ISO 27001 certification. We strictly manage information security so that customers’ precious data will never be leaked to outsiders.
